Join our U.S. College Bootcamp, led by Latino students from Harvard, designed to guide ambitious students through the U.S. college admissions process. Through seven comprehensive panels, we cover extracurricular strategy, personal essays, standardized testing, interviews, and building a balanced college list. Beyond general sessions, students will engage in smaller group discussions for more personalized guidance and real-time feedback. Whether you're just starting or refining your application, this workshop gives you the clarity, strategy, and confidence to apply to top U.S. universities.

The Ivy Code: How to get Accepted into the top U.S. Universities

In this panel, Latino Harvard students will share their experiences and advice on how to successfully apply to top U.S. universities, with a special emphasis on international applicants. We will discuss the admissions process, what universities are truly looking for, and answer your questions in an open and practical space.

Designing a Competitive Applicant Profile: How to Build your Activities List

In this panel, we will discuss how to build and present extracurricular activities that truly make a difference in a college application. We will cover leadership, impact, coherence in your personal narrative, and how to make the most of opportunities both inside and outside of school.

Writing in your own Voice: Personal Statement Workshop

In this workshop, we will analyze examples of successful personal essays and explore what made them stand out. We will focus on structuring your story, finding your voice, and conveying authenticity to craft a strong and memorable essay. There will also be time for volunteers to workshop their essays live and receive feedback.

Getting a Perfect Score: SAT/ ACT/TOEFL

In this panel, we will share the strategies and study habits that helped me achieve a perfect score on the TOEFL/SAT/ACT. We will discuss how to prepare efficiently, avoid common mistakes, and manage your time and nerves on test day. We will also work through practice questions and problems live.

1. Is there an age limit to register?
There is no age limit, but the content is primarily designed for students between 13 and 18 years old.

 

2. Do I need a perfect academic profile?
No. The panel is useful for students at different stages who want to strengthen their profile, regardless of their academic performance.

3. What will the panel logistics look like?
The sessions will be held on Zoom. After the general presentations, there will be opportunities to work and ask questions in smaller groups.

 

4. How do I confirm my registration?

Once you sign up through this form, you will receive an invoice with the payment details. When we receive your payment, we will send you all the instructions for logging into the panel on April 4th—you'll be all set!
